Ralph H. Smith II, special counsel in the firm’s Birmingham office and President and CEO of the Ralph Smith Group LLC, recently introduced a program led by Wall Street Journal Editor-in-Chief Gerard Baker at an exhibit in New York City commemorating the 500th anniversary of the founding of Corpus Christi College at Oxford University, one of the oldest and most renowned of the thirty-eight self-governing colleges at the University of Oxford, of which Smith and Baker are graduates. The program, “News and Journalism in the Age of Trump,” is one of a series surrounding the Exhibit “500 Years of Treasures from Oxford” which showcases in America for the first time an extraordinary array of ancient manuscripts, books, and silver held in the Corpus Christi College library, which the renaissance humanist Erasmus described at its opening as the “gem of Europe.” To view a video of the program, click HERE.
