Jones Walker partner Tara G. Richard, 2006 chair of the New Orleans Bar Association Young Lawyers Section, recently presented a $25,000 donation to the New Orleans Legal Assistance Corporation (NOLAC), a nonprofit legal aid program for low-income people. Mark Moreau, NOLAC’s co-executive director of program services, was on hand to accept the funds, which were generated at two 2006 New Orleans Bar Association events: the New Orleans Bar & Grille and the annual Young Lawyers Section Golf Tournament. Jones Walker special counsel Conrad Meyer, co-chair of the 2006 Bar & Grille, was also present, as was associate Richard R. Stedman, II, 2006 Golf Tournament Co-Chair.
