Jones Walker partner Tara Richard has been chosen by the Louisiana State Bar Association as their Outstanding Young Lawyer for 2008.  The award is given to a young lawyer who has made exceptional contributions to the legal profession and the community.  The recipient is chosen based on the nominee's service to the public, legal profession, and the Louisiana State Bar Association Young Lawyers Section, as well as awards and achievements received during the nominee's legal career and challenges the nominee may have overcome.  Richard will receive the award on June 12 at the Annual Meeting in San Destin, Florida.
