Carl Hanemann has been a partner with Jones Walker since 1973. He is a member of the firm’s Corporate & Securities Practice Group, and he focuses his practice on federal and state securities laws, corporation finance, organization of businesses, business acquisitions and dispositions, and shareholder and partner relationships. Mr. Hanemann was the principal draftsman of the 1985 recodification of Louisiana Securities Law.
Mr. Hanemann attended Harvard Law School, where he received his bachelor of laws degree in 1968. He received his bachelor of arts degree from Tulane University in 1965, and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Hanemann also attended University College in London.
Mr. Hanemann is a member of the Louisiana and American Bar Associations, and he has been editor of Recent Developments in Corporate and Business Law, Louisiana State Bar Association Recent Developments Manual, since 1984.
