Marc Hebert, a partner in the Corporate and Government Relations practice groups, moderated the panel session “Emerging Issues in Washington DC and Federal Regulations Impacting the US Import Supply Chain” during the INTERCEM Americas 2024 conference April 15–16, 2024, in New Orleans. The panel provided an update on the latest developments from Washington, DC, including the current environment relating to CBP enforcement of US Customs laws at US ports; how the USCG is managing increased traffic on our nation’s waterways; and how a change of administration would impact trade regulation, facilitation, and the movement of goods.
