Asher J. Friend, partner in the firm’s Corporate & Securities Practice Group and co-chair of the BioTechnology and Life Sciences and Private Equity teams, presented at the National Business Institute's ("NBI") seminar titled, "Helping Your Client Buy or Sell a Small-to-Medium Sized Business." Mr. Friend spoke on the topic of "Advising Buyers and Sellers During the First Steps of the Process," covering areas such as due diligence, non-disclosure agreements, and letters of intent. The day-long seminar was held on Monday, October 31, 2011 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
