Asher J. Friend, a partner in the firm's Corporate and Securities Practice Group in the New Orleans office, and Dionne M. Rousseau, also a partner in the firm's Corporate and Securities Practice Group in the Baton Rouge office, co-hosted two seminars on the Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act ("JOBS Act") in conjunction with the Postlethwaite & Netterville Accounting and Assurance Services Group. Mr. Friend spoke on how the JOBS Act makes IPOs easier, crowdfunding and other approaches to raising capital, and accounting items to consider and control assessment.
