Rich Tyler, a partner in the Litigation Practice Group in the New Orleans office, authored the article “Kicking and Screaming: Joinder of Non-Signatories in Arbitration Proceedings,” published in the Dispute Resolution Journal of the American Arbitration Association (Vol. 75, No. 1, October 2020). The article explores the circumstances under which a person may compel arbitration of a dispute, or be made a party to an existing arbitration, even though it did not sign the operative arbitration agreement.
