Jones Walker construction partners Tiffany Raush and Neal Sweeney presented at the 2021 Construction SuperConference held in Orlando, Florida on December 6–8, 2021. The Construction Super Conference, celebrating its 35th year, is recognized as the preeminent construction conference for mid-to senior-level professionals in legal and commercial construction markets. At the conference, Tiffany presented “The Best Defense is a Good Offense: Keys to Effective Risk Mitigation in the Life Cycle of a "Typical" Construction Project: A.K.A - A Train Wreck,” which included an interactive discussion regarding risk management and dispute resolution in the life cycle of a typical construction project. Neal presented “Managing Multiple Experts in Complex Construction Disputes,” which discussed how to manage the coordination of multiple independent expert analyses of complex construction disputes. Neal was also a part of the final luncheon keynote panel, “Managing A Construction Law Practice Today and Beyond from the Managing Partners’ Perspective.” This panel included partners from leading construction law firms who discussed how managing a construction law practice has changed in recent years.
