Matthew C. McDonald, a partner in the Litigation and Government Relations practice groups in the Mobile office, was recently elected as a board member of the Alabama Law Foundation. The nonprofit organization gives annual grants to organizations providing free legal aid to low-income Alabama residents in civil cases, subsidizing projects that improve the administration of justice, and assisting with law-related education. The grants are funded by the Interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts (IOLTA) and by donations to the Fellows Program and Atticus Finch Society from Alabama Bar members.
