Maritime attorneys Grady Hurley, Scott Jenkins, Lance Sannino, Will Baldwin, and Chris Ulfers served as speakers and meeting moderators during the 2021 Maritime Law Association Annual Virtual Spring Meeting held April 28–May 7, 2021. Grady Hurley moderated the Committee Chairs Meeting as Second Vice President of the MLA during which the group reviewed committee agendas and programming. Scott Jenkins presented to the Offshore Industries Committee, for which he serves as a chair of the Offshore Facilities and Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) Operations Subcommittee, on the applicability of US law to wind activity on the OCS. Lance Sannino presented an update to the Inland Waters and Towing Committee on recent developments and issues affecting the Mississippi River and Gulf Intracoastal Waterway. Will Baldwin presented on updated National Vessel Documentation Center forms to the Marine Finance Committee where he serves as Secretary. During its annual meeting, the Marine Finance Committee also recognized the work of Jones Walker, and particularly of Chris Ulfers, with providing comments on the proposed BIMCO vessel sales form. Chris Ulfers also served as the Young Lawyers Committee (YLC) liaison for the Healy Lecture, sponsored by New York University, discussing international maritime issues. Jeanne Amy was also in attendance and serves as the YLC liaison to the Offshore Industry Committee.
