J. Kelly Duncan, chair of the firm's Gaming Practice Group, and Marc W. Dunbar, a partner in the firm's Gaming Practice Group in Florida, were both speakers during the International Masters of Gaming Law Spring Conference held on May 10-12, 2017, in Miami, Florida at Turnberry Isle. Mr. Duncan moderated the discussion on "Effects of the 2016 Elections and Emerging Trends facing Gaming in the United States," and Mr. Dunbar was a panelist with other gaming attorneys from across the USA. The panel discussed the implications of the election of a former casino owner as President and the Republican control of Congress for the U.S. gaming Industry. The panel also looked at the future of on-line gaming, tribal gaming and sports betting as changes in the executive, legislative and judicial branches start to be felt.
