Michael Foley, an associate in the Labor & Employment Practice Group in the New Orleans office, wrote the article "Racist attitudes endure across many races, cultures" which was published in HRLaws.com on February 14, 2022. In his article, Michael reviews a recent ruling from United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, which declared a former oil platform worker endured repeated belittling and bullying and suffered a hostile work environment related to his United Houma Nation citizenship. Michael says the employee could not, however, prove that this bullying lead to him being forced to resign.
