Jones Walker will present a briefing on current issues that affect banks as a result of the Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill on Tuesday, August 31, 2010, in New Orleans, Louisiana. We encourage bank executives, board members, and senior management to attend.
This briefing will cover specific research and projections on the effect that the Gulf of Mexico oil spill will have on the economy of the region and what it means to banks. David Dismukes, Director of the LSU Center for Energy Policy, has been working with the Louisiana governor’s office to project the state of the economy after the spill and the ramifications of the moratoriums.
