Britton Seal is a partner in the Corporate Practice Group and co-leader of the mergers and acquisitions and private equity team.
With broad knowledge of corporate and securities law, Britt represents clients in connection with mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures; private equity transactions; business entity formation, counseling, and capitalization; joint ventures; and public and private company securities compliance. He has worked with a wide range of US and non-US individuals and public and privately held clients, including companies, private equity firms, and venture capital funds in numerous industries.

- Represented Lumen Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: LUMN) in its $7.5 billion sale of a portion of its ILEC (incumbent local exchange carrier) business to funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management, Inc.
- Represented Lumen Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: LUMN) in its $2.7 billion sale of its Latin American business
- Represented Quanta Services, Inc. (NYSE: PWR) ), an energy infrastructure company, in numerous acquisitions of private construction services
- Represented Devall Maritime Marine Holdings, LLC in its sale of Devall Towing to Southern Towing Company
- Represented Bernhard Capital Partners Management, LP in its acquisition of Allied Power Holdings, LLC
- Represented Live Nation Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: LYV) in numerous acquisitions of music festivals, venues, and clubs throughout the United States
- Represented Unum Group (NYSE: UNM) in the acquisition of software company, LeaveLogic, Inc.
- Represented Big Easy Blends, LLC, a specialist in the development and manufacturing of brand-named and private label beverage pouches, on its debt and equity capital raise from Clover Capital Partners and Granite Creek Capital Partners
- Represented Lumen Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: LUMN), in connection with its divestiture of its colocation services business in a transaction valued at approximately $2.3 billion
- Represented Superior Energy Services, Inc. (NYSE: SPN), in its merger with Complete Production Services, Inc. (NYSE: CPX), in a transaction valued at approximately $3.2 billion
- Represented HealthSouth Corporation (NYSE: HLS) in connection with the sale of its surgery division to TPG Capital in a stock purchase valued at approximately $945 million
- Represented LHC Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: LHCG), in its acquisition of the home healthcare line of business from Addus Healthcare, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADUS)
- Represented International Shipholding Corp. (NYSE: ISH) in its acquisition of United Ocean Services, LLC, from US United Maritime Group, LLC
- Represented McMoRan Exploration Co. (NYSE: MMR) in connection with an exchange offer of outstanding notes valued at approximately $75 million
- Represented numerous public and private companies in connection with US- and foreign-based joint ventures across a wide range of industries
- Represented a bank holding company in its initial public offering of securities listed on NASDAQ and subsequent acquisition of another bank holding company in a transaction valued at $40 million
- Represented a venture capital biotech company in an offering of Series F preferred stock to raise capital
