Emily represents private and public companies in a wide range of corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters. She advises clients in a variety of transactional settings, focusing on healthcare, mergers and acquisitions, finance, and securities law.

Emily helps hospitals, health systems, providers, and start-up companies to navigate the evolving regulatory landscape, including state corporate practice of medicine, licensing, and compliance issues. She has experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial contracts.

Prior to joining Jones Walker, Emily worked in strategic operations and planning for Ochsner Health. Emily helped both create and execute on a cohesive health and wellness division strategy through collaboration with a variety of organizational stakeholders. Her accomplishments included the creation of value through both organic and inorganic growth. As a result of this experience, she developed a passion for helping clients achieve their strategic vision and is experienced in partnering with a range of businesses to produce results. Emily also has personal business experience as the founder of an apparel line and is attuned to the challenges of business ownership and the importance of professional advice to businesses of all types.
