He recognizes that a single client victory can have important ripple effects throughout entire industries. Over the years, Edward has successfully represented publicly traded corporations, privately held companies, municipalities, and individual clients in complex, high-profile, and high-stakes matters.
He has deep experience at every step of the litigation process, from initial discovery and depositions to the development of case strategies and the drafting and filing of motions and appeals. In addition to his personal injury, premises liability, and products liability work, he has represented clients in connection with transportation disputes, law enforcement civil rights actions, and business succession and healthcare disputes, among other areas. An avid researcher, Edward has deep experience interpreting emerging and often untested federal and state laws. He advised a major insurance company regarding the important changes in Louisiana’s bad faith statutes with respect to disputes that arise following natural disasters such as Hurricane Katrina.
Committed to improving lives throughout his community, Edward provides pro bono representation to individuals and organizations in the area of animal law.
