Harry Hardin has practiced law at Jones Walker since 1971 and is of counsel in the Litigation Practice Group.
As a trial attorney, Harry has handled innumerable commercial cases in diverse practice areas, including antitrust, transportation, insurance, contract, patent, trademark, copyright, and other intellectual property, legal and accountancy malpractice, judicial misconduct, class actions, and appellate law. Harry has more than 60 reported decisions; among these, he served as trial and appellate counsel in a complex, multiparty toxic tort class action that was tried for five weeks to jury verdict and involved approximately 20 reported decisions during the 10-year span of the case.
Harry has been retained by and regularly represents railroads, the gaming industry, the entertainment and music industry, healthcare providers, trade associations, telecommunication companies, computer software companies, domestic and international manufacturers, banks, and insurance companies.
In addition to his broad spectrum of representation, Harry frequently lectures on ethics and professionalism, and is a leader in the organized bar. From 2002 until 2014, he served as chair of the Louisiana Supreme Court Judicial Campaign Oversight Committee.
