Keiana Palmer is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group.
Keiana represents private and public companies, institutional investors, and other firm clients in a wide range of corporate and commercial law matters. Her practice includes advising on international business transactions and on policy and regulatory compliance in foreign jurisdictions.
Keiana is a member of the firm’s Guyana task force supporting the goal of strengthening Louisiana’s economic ties to Guyana’s energy, infrastructure, maritime, logistics, and agribusiness industry sectors. Beginning in 2022, she served as a delegate for trade delegations to Guyana, organized by LDEC and the Bilateral Chamber, which focused Guyana’s efforts to promote investment and economic diversification, explore market entry strategies, foster partnerships, and develop closer trade and investment ties between Guyana and the United States.
Before joining Jones Walker, Keiana was associate counsel at a boutique corporate and healthcare regulatory law firm in Chicago. Her practice focused on advising high-growth digital health and technology startups on entity formation and conversion, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and strategic planning, among other matters. She has experience representing organizational stakeholders; reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts; and assisting a range of clients with corporate transactions.
Keiana is a member of the Louisiana Chapter of the Young Association for Corporate Growth, which is the premiere middle-market M&A association in Louisiana for young professionals involved in corporate growth, corporate development, and mergers and acquisitions.
A Toronto, Ontario, native and former NCAA soccer player with a diverse experiential background, Keiana prides herself on being adaptable, collaborative, and client-service-centric.
