Davis Williams is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group and a member of the dispute resolution and arbitration team.
Davis assists clients with commercial litigation matters but also has experience with insurance, environmental, energy, construction, criminal, and estate disputes. Additionally, Davis represents aerospace contractors in regulatory approval and licensing matters.
Prior to joining Jones Walker, Davis was a law clerk for a regional integrated energy company. He also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Ivan Lemelle of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
While earning his juris doctor degree, he served as the Articles Editor of Loyola Law Review. Davis was also an oralist and brief writer for Loyola’s Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Team, where he received honorable mention honors for best brief. He also participated in a national trial advocacy competition team and was the lead negotiator for Loyola’s team in the Tulane Professional Basketball Negotiation Competition. Davis was a fellow in the 2022–23 Loyola Institute of Politics class.
Prior to attending law school, Davis worked as a sportswriter and in sports broadcasting for two leading broadcast corporations.
