Meghan Dupre Montgomery is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group and a member of the mergers and acquisitions and private equity team. She focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity investments, capital raises, joint ventures, and general corporate matters.
Meghan frequently represents private equity funds in acquisitions of portfolio companies, add-on acquisitions, and other direct equity and debt investments and exits or divestitures from these various investments. In addition to her transactional work, she advises senior management, investment funds, family offices, and boards on general strategic, governance, and corporate matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Meghan practiced at a well-regarded New Orleans firm as well as in the Houston office of an international law firm, where she assisted clients with a broad range of complex M&A transactions, restructurings, and corporate governance matters.
Previously, Meghan served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Edith Brown Clement in the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and to the Honorable Martin L.C. Feldman in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
Meghan is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth Louisiana. She also serves as a mentor for the Loyola University of New Orleans College of Law Entrepreneurship Project, a program through which current students help local community start-ups with various legal tasks.
