Rachel Moody is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group and a member of the corporate compliance and white collar defense team.
Rachel has a broad-based litigation practice involving compliance issues and complex commercial litigation in the healthcare, financial, intellectual property, and energy sectors.
Rachel has experience litigating federal and state court disputes for matters involving securities issues, antitrust laws, intellectual property rights, government enforcement actions, internal corporate investigations, commercial defense litigation, and oil-and-gas-related disputes. Her practice also includes handling the defense of cases arising out of and relating to health insurance, including matters under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.
Prior to joining Jones Walker, Rachel served as a judicial extern for Judge John deGravelles of the US District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana. While in law school, she served as the editor-in-chief of the LSU Journal of Energy Law and Resources, Volume VIII.
