Jacob Pritt is an associate in the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice Group.
Jacob litigates complex commercial and employment matters involving restrictive covenants and trade secrets; discrimination, retaliation, and harassment claims; wage and hour claims; and occupational safety and health. In addition to litigation, Jacob advises clients on all aspects of employment law and human resources compliance. Beyond the employment context, he advises clients on compliance with a wide range of civil rights statutes, including Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act regarding public accommodations and Title IX regarding sex discrimination in education.
Prior to joining Jones Walker, Jacob received his juris doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Tulane University Law School, where he was a member of the moot court team and a Notes and Comments Editor on the Tulane Law Review. Before law school, Jacob graduated from Harvard University with a concentration in philosophy. Jacob currently serves on the board of directors of the Harvard Club of Louisiana.
